Horse Racing | Eskimo Prince Stakes

The Eskimo Prince Stakes is a Group 3 race held during the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival. Contested at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Western Sydney, it covers a distance of 1200m and is a race for three-year-olds at set weights plus penalties.

It is named in honour of a magnificent black colt called Eskimo Prince who won the first running of the Silver Slipper in late 1963 and the eighth Golden Slipper in April of 1964. It has been elevated from a Listed Race to Group 3.
