Horse Racing | Millie Fox Stakes

The Mille Fox Stakes is a high quality Group 2 horse race which features on one of the premier events at the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival, Hobartville Stakes Day. The race is run over 1300m at Rosehill Racecourse and is restricted to fillies and mares. Run under set weight and penalty conditions, the Millie Fox Stakes attracts classy gallopers which often compete in the Group 2 Breeders Classic earlier in the autumn.

The event was inaugurated in 1996, and was elevated to a Group 3 in 2007 before gaining Group 2 status in 2013. The event is named in the honour of racing identity Millie Fox. Chris Waller’s mare Red Tracer won three straight Millie Fox Stakes between 2012-2014.
